Childrens Liturgy
Children’s liturgy volunteers,
Please see attached the updated overview of liturgy going forward, and to the end of the school year.
I have not populated all readings, but you can see in advance what all readings will be by looking here
Liturgy Office – Calendar 2025
I also attach some Jubilee year resources and explanations that you may wish to use.
Where you are not named, this is because you have told us you prefer to support rather than lead at the moment, which if course is just as vital, so please just attend as you can.
Fr Prem, we spoke before about you letting us know what you will preach on in advance; if you would like to share these thoughts as you write your homily each week, I can update this so that our message is always aligned with yours. I will also liaise with the music group. When it is school holidays, we do not typically run a session, however if you would like to volunteer on these occasions please feel free, but let Maggie know in advance so that she can advise Father or a visiting priest.
Click here to take you to this Sunday and the ‘little thought’ by Fr Prem and some suggested hymns
Finally, I have emailed the safeguarding team again to get our volunteer DBS certificates organised. In the mean time please always ensure that you work with at least one other adult and are never left alone with the children.
I have put together a short notice for parishioners asking for continued support too, Father Prem please feel free to edit and share this as you feel best. Father, I also attach a resource that families can use at home during Holy week if they would like to, in previous years you have kindly shared this via the website.
Thank you everyone, please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions,
